The Right Day

Interestingly, the exact date when Jesus was born was not given in the Bible. Yet, Christians have consistently taken the 25th of December (or Christmas) as the day of his birth. Ironically, the date of his crucifixion was clearly the 14th of Nisan. Yet, Christians have kept insisting that Good Friday falls on a Friday and Easter falls on a Sunday.

What is the reason for this inconsistency?
